• Check the care label: Always follow the specific instructions on the garment's care label first, as finishes like "flame wash" (which likely refers to a brushed or textured surface treatment) might have unique requirements.
• Machine Wash Cold: Use a washing machine on a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water (max 30°C or 86°F) to protect the organic fibers, prevent shrinkage, and preserve colors.
• Sort Clothes: Wash the item with similar colors to prevent dye transfer and with similar fabric weights to avoid abrasion from heavier items.
• Turn Inside Out: Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the outer surface and any special finish from fading or pilling.
• Use Mild Detergent: Opt for a gentle, eco-friendly, and pH-neutral laundry detergent.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or enzyme-based stain removers, as these can weaken the natural fibers, reduce absorbency, and damage the finish. A small amount of distilled white vinegar can be added to the rinse cycle as an alternative to fabric softener to help remove detergent residue. 

Drying Instructions

• Air Dry (Recommended): The best method is to reshape the garment gently and lay it flat or hang it to air dry naturally in a shaded area. This prevents shrinkage, maintains the shape, and extends the lifespan of the item.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep the garment out of direct sunlight while drying to prevent color fading.
• Tumble Dry on Air Cycle Only (If Necessary): If a dryer must be used, use an air-only cycle (no heat). High heat is the primary cause of shrinkage in cotton and should be strictly avoided.
• Remove While Damp: If using a machine, remove the item while slightly damp to minimize wrinkles and over-drying. 

Ironing
